Welcome to MayesCountySports.com, the website dedicated to Mayes
County sports coverage and entertainment.
Since 2005, MayesCountySports.com has been providing the people of
Mayes County - and all over the United States - with unique prep
sports coverage. From preseason previews, to regular season game
recaps and stories, to total playoff coverage and live updates at
selected tournaments, Mayes County Sports has been there.
Although MayesCountySports.com attempts to post other stories
regarding sports in the county, we are mainly a website that cover
high school athletics. The summertime is our time to spend
with our family, and therefore, sports coverage may be limited.
However, if you have scores or story ideas from summertime events,
please feel free to email them to us, and we will get them on as
soon as possible.
MayesCountySports.com was the first web-based sports site of its
kind, in this area. The site first launched in January of 2005.
Along the way there have been some new additions and new looks. Each
high school in Mayes County has an individual page, which provides
school info, game recaps and schedules for that respective school.
Late in 2005, we started providing some game video, as well as
coaches’ post game interviews on the site. Now, instead of just
reading what a coach had to say, you can also hear his tone in his
voice.
We at MayesCountySports.com attempt to provide you with the most
accurate, detailed sports reporting we possibly can. All of us
associated with MCS hold regular jobs, and do not get paid for what
we bring you. All we ask, is that for the people that like us, if
they could make a small donation in any monetary amount, or if local
businesses would place ads on our site. The more help we get from
the public, the longer we can keep this site free. People pay for
newspapers that come out one or five days a week, why not pay for
24/7 sports coverage?
We hope you all keep coming back to us as we continue to grow. We
have big things planned for MCS...just takes some time and money to
put it all together.
Best of luck to you and your team this year, and in the coming
years. Travel safely, have fun. We hope you enjoy the site.
